With the establishment of ENEF by Decree No. 7.397/2010, the governance structure of ENEF includes public and private entities interested in promoting financial education in Brazil. The format preserves the independence of the supervisory bodies of the financial system to develop their own educational actions.
As a national policy, ENEF should address the following governance areas:

Executive Secretariat: provides administrative support and provides the necessary means to achieve the objectives of CONEF. Exercised by the Central Bank.

AEF-Brasil is an Oscip, created in 2011 by ANBIMA, B3, CNSEG and FEBRABAN with the objectives of coordinating and executing the transversal actions of ENEF and promoting financial education in Brazil through the development of social and educational technologies related to the theme .
