Opening of the 5th ENEF Week brings together 300 people in Brasilia
The 5th National Week of Financial Education, sponsored by CONEF – National Committee for Financial Education, was inaugurated in Brasilia on May 14.
The event was attended by 300 guests and was broadcast online. The opening was by the President of the Central Bank, Ilan Goldfajn, the Chairman of the Securities Commission, Marcelo Barbosa, the Director of the Superintendency of Private Insurance (Susep), Paulo dos Santos, the Central Bank Director, Mauricio Moura, and of the Superintendent Director of the National Superintendence of Complementary Social Security (Previc) and President of Conef, Fábio Coelho.
On the occasion, Claudia Forte, Superintendent of the Brazilian Financial Education Association (AEF-Brasil), presented the EaD project, developed in conjunction with TV Escola, to support teacher training in financial education. Another novelty is the Game of Financial Education, designed to retain students’ attention and encourage the conscious use of financial resources.
The event also had a panel with digital influencers: Nathalia Arcuri, a journalist and founder of the “Me Poupe!” channel, Thiago Nigro, entrepreneur and creator of “O Primo Rico” and Márcio Fernandes, author of the book “Felicidade dá lucro”. The manager of the Brazilian Service of Support to Micro and Small Businesses (Sebrae), Guilherme Kessel, mediated the debate.
