ENEF Week

National Financial Education Week – ENEF Week – is an initiative of the National Financial Education Committee (CONEF) to promote the National Financial Education Strategy (ENEF).

Several free educational actions take place during the week, with the aim of disseminating financial, social security and insurance education, as well as contributing to the strengthening of citizenship and autonomy.

Held annually since 2014, the ENEF Week presents a very positive balance. In 2017, there were 1,826 actions – in person and online – an increase of 75% over the previous year, with the participation of 1.9 million people, in 3,781 events.

In 2016, there were 1,044 actions – in person and online – organized by 153 institutions that impacted around 1.3 million people in 458 municipalities in all states.

In the first edition, held in 2014, more than 170 events took place, in person or online, in 21 cities in 17 Brazilian states and the Federal District. Already in the ENEF Week of 2015, held in the same period of Global Money Week, 505 events were held, face-to-face or online, impacting thousands of citizens.

If you are interested in organizing activities during the Week, register your actions in the Other Initiatives tab. Before enrolling them, observe the criteria and prohibitions contained in Guidelines and Criteria. It is in the interest of CONEF that many join this effort to bring financial education to the population.
